Evidence-Based Treatment
Evidence-based treatment informed by science.
Many providers offer standardized evidence-based treatment for mental health and addiction challenges. At StoneRidge, we go far beyond the typical treatment experience by pairing clinically rigorous evidence-based treatment with a plan of care informed by brain science. By combining treatment expertise with neuroscience, we can drive recovery forward.
Trusted Treatment, New Approach
In addition to our innovative neuroscience-based therapies, all of our evidence-based treatment programs are guided by the brain-focused plan of care we create for each patient. Prior to beginning treatment with us, each patient receives a personalized treatment plan based on a three-part physical, mental, and medical assessment. From there, we select the appropriate evidence-based treatments for the patient, including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps patients reframe and neutralize negative or intrusive thoughts to increase the odds of a successful recovery process through techniques such as Red Flag Thoughts.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) teaches patients key skills including Emotional Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness, allowing them to become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and reactions. This allows patients to pause, check in, and identify their emotions and consciously make healthy decisions in their lives.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) sessions with a licensed and trained therapist allow patients to better manage ongoing stress and anxiety, as well as experience one-on-one interventions with a trained therapist. These sessions also equip patients with skills they can use in their post-treatment lives in times of stress.
- Process Groups give patients the opportunity to practice skills and techniques that they have learned in recovery to ensure they can navigate challenges and situations that were previously overwhelming. This allows patients to grow and mature under their therapists’ guidance in a safe space.
